Finally after waiting a few years, the PHP conference 2007, held in Amsterdam, is on a date (16th June 2007) where it’s possible to me to join this important PHP event without to cancel my vacation. ![]()
The Conference this year is first time organized by the Dutch Zend partner “Ibuildings.nl” and has a very “heavy” agenda:
OK, you can’t follow all this stuff in several hours. Thats why you have to choose from three presentations from every block. I hoped to meet some of the founders of PHP or Zend, but this year I have to listen to speakers like Cal Evens, Derick Rethans and some others…
I’m back!
Must say it was a nice event: great location to held that kind of events and there was some good people there.
… can’t say I will revisit the PHP conference next year, why? Most of the presentation must be held very short (45 minutes) while the content of the presentation need maybe 2 or 3 hours.
I think if I read two hours some good blog posts I got the same amount of information
Ok, I need to be fair, the presentation about mash ups from Cal Evens was very cool, funny and worth full, well dome Cal (you was the that I don’t got mad after investing 8 hours into something I’m not really need)
