Monetize your website with AuctionAds
About 3 month ago a lot of TLA (Text Link Ads) publishers got an invitation to join the new publisher service AuctionAds. This program is smart way to show ads eBay auctions without to be an eBay affiliate. After using these ads for more than a month it’s time for short review.
First of all the account functions are very easy to use, showing reports and generating new ad code is done within no-time. There are reports for campaigns and for different time periods about impressions clicks and earnings.
I like the ad code generation tool at most, you can choose from the most common standard banner sizes to get an ad for every place on your website, blog or forum. Choose what the color scheme you need and most important you can choose the keywords for the auctions you want to publish. There are also advanced keyword and price options like:
- Select only auctions from advertisers you want
- Show only auctions where the price is equal to minimum and / or maximum
- Rotate ads for different keywords
Good points
- Payment is very fast, at the first day after the previous month (if you reach minimum amount)
- Ads for almost every keyword and category
- The generation of easy to use JavaScript code
- They provide referral link code
Bad points
- I can’t see how much earnings I have from my referrals
- The website has some downtime during the last weeks (I guess they have solved this problems the last days)
- Campaigns cannot be renamed
I think AuctionAds is a very good alternative to monetize your website even if you don’t have thousands of daily page views. How much you can earn? A lot, just imagine that one of your visitors has won an auction for a car or other high priced stuff!

Hey thanks for this write up. I’ve experimented with AuctionAds and it has some great potential. I agree with your bad points that they should have a way to measure referrals and their earnings!

I tried Auction Ads, but had problems with their ads being totally irrelevant to site content or keywords. With keywords like ‘internet marketing’ I saw ads about adult videos…
