I switched an old application (to Yahoo) after I noticed that the api server went offline too (not sure if this was a permanent offline) If you're able to modify the applications you should try the "paid" CSE version, using this application you get XML feeds too (and the fee is very low) yep they stopped providing them.

So, I actually saw a phone in a magazine recently with the Google Android OS running on it. It was actually a TMobil phone.
