The title sounds good if you get some e-mail to join a developer network where it’s possible to earn good money for programming some gadgets which will be used by mobile phone users. They told me about a really good opportunity and I answered in the first contact that I’m to busy. In the meantime I checked the website of SMS.ac and thought by myself “OK, that’s a bigger company, strange that I didn’t hear about before”. After several weeks I got an e-mail from a second person. I told her what I wrote to the other sales person and confirmed that I’m still not interested. Only 10 days later there is another mail from a third employee from SMS.ac with the same proposal…

What do I have to think about a company that bothered me so many times with unsolicited mail?
If you get similar mails from them, be careful: A really good product doesn’t need this kind of hard sales!

Our partner finalwebsites.com has started with a new service for webmasters: the Google PageRank™ check and PageRank information button. On the website is a live PageRank check possible and there is a simple html code snippet that webmasters can use on their own websites for free. This code modified with the matching web address or URL will show up the current PageRank in an image button. After looking around for a while I noticed so much websites, Blog and RSS feed directories that I became dizzy… Promoting a Blog is for sure important for your daily search engine optimisation, but be careful there are similar rules for Blogs then for regular websites: Write unique content, don’t link to bad websites and try to get inbound links with a high Google pagerank.
For Blog websites are several other important websites like Technorati, Bloglines or all the other internet news submission services (MyYahoo, digg.com, NewsGator…). Submit your interesting posts there and share your information to the rest of the world.
